Synopsis
Le sudiste Marcus Hubbard s'est enrichi pendant la guerre de Sécession. Il rend à ses concitoyens le mépris que ceux-ci lui affichent. Toutefois, il ne parvient pas à apprendre à ses enfants à tirer des leçons de son expérience...
